Vodice

Vodice are located 12 km northwest of Šibenik, along the coast in a wide bay. They are situated on a main traffic route. Vodice are first mentioned in 1402. The town developed in this location due to its rich sources of drinking water, from which it got its name. The town has 7 hotels – Orion, Vile Matilde, Olympia, Imperial, Plavi Jadran, Kristina, Punta, 2 marinas – ACI Marina Vodice, Marina Tribunj, 6 cultural monuments, and 4 archaeological sites. The town has about 10,000 residents, and during the tourist season, over 50,000 people stay there daily.

The Blue Beach is a well-maintained and fully equipped town bathing area. Sea and sun lovers can choose between beaches offering a rich sports and entertainment program, while those seeking peace and solitude can rent a boat or take a boat line to nearby islands.

The town has three tennis complexes, a football field, basketball and volleyball courts. There are diving and windsurfing schools, and an underwater photo safari is organized. Organized excursions are also available. The rich cultural and artistic life is just a part of the diverse offerings. Vodice are exciting both day and night, like few other towns on the Adriatic.

With a rich spirit, they always offer something new and unusual. They captivate with "something" that no one can show or describe.
